The Course
Our online Childhood Trauma and Attachment Training is designed to introduce carers to important childhood trauma theory. It is made up of four models. Each session looks at a different important topic that will teach them about the brain, behaviour and development of the children they care for. These modules are designed to support carers in beginning to adopt a trauma-informed approach. This programme is full of ideas, strategies and advice that carers can take away and begin to implement straight away. With a therapeutic approach at its core, this is an essential course for anyone caring for vulnerable children and young people.
Who is it for?

Course Modules

Individual cost – £250 per person
Whole agency costs are available for larger agencies with over 20 carers. You may want to consider the support hub package which includes these course modules
We know how valuable it is for foster carers to be able to come together to discuss practice. It brings the course modules to life and helps them further apply theory to the day to day interactions with the children. Our workshops encourage carers to reflect on the course modules and to have an opportunity to talk about their own experiences with a childhood trauma expert.
Sessions are engaging, interesting, and inspiring and will leave carers with insight, strategies, and a sense of empowerment.
