Why you get triggered by things

Do you feel triggered by things easily? Maybe you jump when you hear a loud noise or get angry easily, or need to walk away when things get too intense. When you have been through trauma, your brain often creates something called a trigger, which can cause you to remember painful memories, thoughts or feelings when you don’t expect them.
