TPC Support Hub

Putting childhood trauma and therapeutic approaches at the core of the industry

The support hub is a place where Agency staff and carers can go for the help when they need it! Whether they work in an admin role, manager, or a support worker our unique support hub will up-skill and empower everyone to understand how to support children with their emotional and mental health.

Trauma impacts people in many different ways, it is important everyone has in-depth, trauma-based training to ensure they are working from a place of understanding and empathy, with a therapeutic mindset, whatever their role!

We know that working with vulnerable children is one of the most rewarding things people can do. We also know it can be one of the most challenging and can often leave them feeling unequipped and emotionally drained! We have designed the hub with that in mind so that you feel confident to support children through what might be the most traumatic time of their lives.

The hub offers 24-hour, online access to specific accredited training and a growing library of resources designed to embed this approach across the agency. We work alongside you to develop a hub that meets the needs of your specific service, adding relevant sections, topics, and assessment tools that sit alongside your current procedures.

Everyone in the agency will then be signed up and have access to the growing library of resources and support. Users will also be able to request advice based on topics they might be struggling with and we will create resources specifically for them.

Alongside this, all users will be able to work through our accredited Childhood Trauma and Attachment courses to embed underpinning knowledge across the service and upskill each individual so that they feel empowered and inspired to make a difference. The support hub is always evolving and growing based on the needs of the care industry and as our partner, you will have peace of mind that your agency has access to professional, specialist advice when they need it most.

5* EVERYONE NEEDS TPC!!

Life changing training….. Shahana’s knowledge and style of training is phenomenal, she is extremely approachable and passionate. It is fantastic that training is followed up with a workshop to discuss learning after each module, this is a great way to discuss real life situations in a safe space with advice given by Shahana – followed up by fantastic resources. I personally have learnt a lot from each module and now therapeutic language comes very naturally to me. I have seen significant impact and positive responses from all, it is a great way to build rapport and trust with those who need it most. I will continue to recommended TPC to other professionals, schools, family etc.

Additional workshops

We know how valuable it is for foster carers to be able to come together to discuss practice. It brings the course modules to life and helps them further apply theory to the day to day interactions with the children. Our workshops encourage carers to reflect on the course modules and to have an opportunity to talk about their own experiences with a childhood trauma expert. Sessions are engaging, interesting, and inspiring and will leave carers with insight, strategies, and a sense of empowerment.

*Face to face workshops are subject to availability and location. Workshop length can be discussed on an individual need basis
